      What's New at Professional Fire Fighters of WI Honor Guard
      PFFWHG statewide trainings will begin in april and run through August of 2015.  We will be getting back to the basics for this year.  Trainings will run 4-5 hours and will consist of basic drill and ceremony to start, and then move into posting/retrieving/presenting the Colors. Read More...

      Death of Retired Brother Herman "Hermie" Kilwein

       Retired Local 452 member, Herman Kilwein, passed away May 23rd.  Brother Kilwein, was a very popular guy with all shifts.  He could hide and not be found.  During his time, each shift had a locked food locker and a padlocked refrigerator.  None of that could keep Hermie out.

      On Saturday night May 23rd 2015, 4th Division members from Engine Company 11 and Squad Company 2 were dispatched the area of 232 Cedar St in a humanitarian effort to assist a dog stuck in a culvert pipe 12ft down an embankment. Squad 2 Firefighter Edward Taylor who is also a professional dog trainer, was able to reach the dog, and bring him up safely.

      25th Annual MDA Golf Tournement

      Belmont Firefighters Local will be hosting our 25th Annual MDA Golf Tournament on Friday June 26th at 8am at the Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland. We still have a couple foursomes available. Cost is $150 per person and includes: Cart, Breakfast, Lunch and Buffet Dinner - Shot Gun Start, Scramble Play. Hole Sponsors are also available for $200 - Please Help Us Support a Great Cause.

      Brothers and Sisters, I`m riding in the Bike MS: Cape Cod Getaway 2015  (June 27+28, 2015) in support of my wife Lorraine, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This is a 150 mile, two day ride from UMass/Boston to Mass. Maritime Academy in Bourne. Then on to Provincetown.  M.S. is an Autoimmune disease that attacks the central nervous system.
